Reasons Behind project

I Reasons Behind sono il mio principale progetto musicale.
Siamo attivi dal 2010 e stiamo attualmente finendo le fasi di produzione del nostro primo full length, intitolato "The Alpha Memory". 

La nostra musica è classificabile come metal power/sinfonico, per quanto sia in realtà piena di venature prog e di musica elettronica. Rispetto al nostro EP di debutto, intitolato "Ouverture", il nostro sound, prima spiccatamente symphonic, si è molto evoluto, e i nuovi brani sono caratterizzati da alte velocità, suoni spiccatamente elettronici, e riff potenti.

Biography

Originally a gothic metal band (After Forever, Within Temptation, early Lacuna Coil), Reasons Behind project officially came to life in 2010, when Elisa (vocals) and Dario (keyboards & piano) join Gabriele (guitarist and founder), adding classical and operatic elements to a new power metal approach. Completing the line-up Enrico (bass) and Fabio (drums).
On April 2012 they published their debut EP Ouverture, a piece of classical symphonic metal receiving good reviews from Italian and foreign press: especially, Ouverture became demo of the month on Italian magazine Metal Maniac and let Reasons Behind to be nominated in the “Best Newcomer Of The Year” category at Metal Symphonique Awards (France).
Thanks to this good press & audience reaction the band could share the stage with some acclaimed metal band like White Skull, Secret Sphere, Ancient Bards and Tystnaden, playing several gigs along the country.
Reasons Behind are now working on their new release's stuff, a concept album where classical arrangements will melt with a modern and progressive sound.
